Untapped Revenue Generation

The vast amount of data generated by sensors in human-device interaction provides insights into our health, safety, and the condition of the world. It also presents an alternative form of revenue generation for market participants.

The buying and selling of data is not a novel concept, however, the ability to retain, secure, and sell one’s own generated data directly from a hardware source provides a new democratized sales channel where individuals have control.

At scale, this approach could lead to the introduction of a Machine DeFi pool, based on the number of transactions occurring in the marketplace, and provide a form of universal basic income (UBI), which several governments around the world have explored, but not yet formally implemented.

Automating our traditional economy can help alleviate social burdens on those at the bottom of the ‘social pyramid’ and provide them time for upskilling, personal development, or caretaking.
