Core Values

These are the values that drive us. They are the daily foundation on which we define our goals and execute our work.

I listen to my team.

  • We use our ears, eyes, and mouths proportionally.

I learn from my team.

  • We love learning new technology. Everybody has something to share. This leads to outside the box thinking and, we hope, a future world where tolerance for others is innate. We take pride in counterintuitive thinking and don’t take ourselves too seriously.

I lead my team.

  • By listening and learning, we gain the confidence to make the right decisions for each other. This way we can encourage pro-activeness.

I communicate with my team.

  • Stating the obvious is the first rule of communication. Discussing the non-obvious leads to growth. Sharing is actually caring. This creates an environment where we can speak our minds in a refreshingly open and unhinged, yet respectful manner, without fear of retribution or being put down for being ourselves.

I fail and improve with my team.

  • “Karen’s” and “Ken’s” be mindful. Self-righteousness poisons growth and repels important lessons failure teaches. Failure and conflict is an inevitable part of growth. How we manage ourselves, learn, and stay focused on the benefits for our users, in the face of negativity, is a sign of team strength.

I build with my team.

  • Diverse, individual, and unique perspective is critical to creating the most delightful and impactful products for the people we serve. To achieve this we must recognize and respect the diverse, individual, and unique perspectives in each other, as a team.
